Western Regional Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species

The Western Regional Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species (WRP) is proudly holding their 2024 Annual Meeting in Colorado – October 23-25 in Grand Junction. The WRP Annual Meeting 2024 is hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

REGISTRATION

There is no cost to attend the annual meeting. However, for planning purposes all in-person attendees must register for the event. If you will not attend in person, see information below about virtual participation. Registration will open May 2024.

AGENDA-AT-A-GLANCE

Pre-meetings – tentative individual meetings among state partners (time/location TBD likely late afternoon October 22), and federal partners
October 23 – Day 1 – 8am-5pm agenda with multiple presentations, discussions and opportunities to network
October 24 – Day 2 – 8am-5pm agenda with multiple presentations, business meeting, committee meetings, discussions and opportunities to network
October 25 – Day 3 – 8am-1pm field trip to nearby AIS management locations

MEETING LOCATION

The meeting will take place at the Grand Junction Convention Center.  Address: 159 Main St. Grand Junction, CO 81501

HOST HOTELS

There are multiple hotels within short walking distance of the Convention Center. The WRP is able to offer a hotel rate of $107/night plus tax (federal per diem rate) at three hotel locations adjacent to Convention Center.  Please click on the link below to make your reservation at your preferred hotel.  The room rate will be available until September 15.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

Virtual participation for the 2024 Annual Meeting will be limited.  The WRP will have a virtual platform to join the meeting, however there will be limited ability to interact with the speakers and audience.  We encourage you to participate in person.
